Mr. Malhotra is an Indian IT industry pioneer. He co-founded and built The HCL Group from a six-person "garage operation" in 1975 to one of India's largest Information Technology corporations. At HCL, he set-up and ran the US business, the HCL - HP joint venture and the joint venture with Deluxe Corporation.
In late 1998, Arjun Malhotra founded TechSpan which later merged with Headstrong, a leading global IT consultancy. At Headstrong, he serves as Chairman and CEO.
Mr. Malhotra founded the Prof. G.S. Sanyal School of Tele-communications at IIT Kharagpur and serves on the Board of Governors of the Technology Foundation at IIT Kharagpur. He has been awarded the coveted Albert Einstein Technology Medal by The Jerusalem Fund of Aish HaTorah.
Arjun Malhotra is an alumnus of The Doon School, IIT Kharagpur and Harvard Business School.
